Temple Robotics is a team-based, interdisciplinary organization with a thrive for competition, a passion for creativity, and a love for innovation. Housed in the Temple University Student Space Exploration and Embedded Systems Lab, we compete annually in the NASA Robotic Mining Competition, host various independent projects, and carry out many outreach activities and volunteering tasks. We’re advocates for technological empowerment and solving the seemingly impossible through providing STEM education opportunities outside of the classroom.
Our mission is to provide an inclusive space for students of all disciplines (engineering or otherwise) to build robots and automated systems. Our student organization uses system engineering and evidence-based design approaches to collaboratively build systems based around completing an objective. These projects are completed entirely by students, putting the emphasis on student leaders to manage the project and see it through to the end.
