TEMPO Physiotherapy for Dancers

Dancer’s health requires a team. It is about integration and involvement of many people, including the dancers themselves, parents (carers), teachers, doctors, physios, psychologists, nutritionists, to name few. My name is Weronika Tobolska and I have created Tempo Physiotherapy to support dancers in their careers by closing the gap between science and dance. I provide dancers with access to dance specific injury care in their local area, without the need of travelling and therefore limiting their recovery potential. I support dancers, dance studios, dance companies and dance teachers in their daily dance practices and careers to become empowered, sustainable and safe in dance. I offer support for those who are ready to step up in their career by delivering professional dance physiotherapy and scientific education. I provide dance injury management, pre-pointe assessment, dance assessment and screenings, in house educational workshops and assessments for dance schools and companies. I strongly believe in injury prevention, therefore put emphasis on workshops and education. Knowledge is gold! I take the dance medicine science into dance schools and companies and target their individual health needs. My teachings are very much dance specific! I support dance schools and teachers in broadening their injury prevention literacy so that they can become a strong foundation for their students and support them in their dance longevity and performance enhancement.
