TINZ (Tenancy Information New Zealand), operates New Zealand’s largest tenancy checking database. Based in Auckland and operating nationally, TINZ provides a broad range of services spanning real-time credit checks, tenancy debt recovery, rental listings, and tenancy applications and agreements. TINZ was established in 1998 to provide a fast, convenient tenant screening service for real estate agents and landlords. Today the company’s products and services are used by all major real estate brands across New Zealand. TINZ’s tenancy checking service draws on a comprehensive range of data sources to calculate tenancy risk. Tenancy Scores are calculated using a combination of metrics including credit status, repayment history, court filings, tenant ratings and tenancy breaches. Further to this TINZ has capacity to perform international and online database searches, and personal character checks. TINZ is powered by Australasia's leading independent provider of data and analytics products and services. TINZ is endorsed by REINZ, LPMNZ, NZPIF and IPMA.
