Our “About Us” should be called “About You.” Because, as a cooperative, Tendto operates at the service of the people who bank with us. That’s why we call ourselves Tendto. Because we tend to see things differently. We tend to believe in the community we live in. And most importantly, we tend to do everything we can to make your financial dreams come true. Our mission is to make life better for Erie County – and that’s a promise we intend to keep.
Since the credit union was originally founded in 1958, we’ve worked to evolve our product and service offerings to meet the needs of Erie, its people and its institutions. We’ve grown, adapted and hired some of the smartest, most talented, home-grown talent around. We’re so proud of who we have become. In 2018, we took on a rebrand, changing our name to better reflect our values and the positive outlook we have for the future.
