Owned and operated by a local Japanese family for over 20 years, Tensuke Market & Food Court prides itself in bringing the community authentic Japanese foods and ingredients to homes in the Chicago area. We receive daily shipments of wild-caught fish and seafood from Alaska, Hawaii, New England, and Seattle. We use the highest grade Kagayaki rice in our sushi (available in both white and brown varieties). Our seafood freshness is unsurpassed, which elevates our sushi & sashimi quality above the rest. In serving the Chicago area for nearly 20 years, we’ve built a reputation on providing authentic cuisine with outstanding service at affordable prices! As we go into the next 20 years of business, we strive to make changes to accommodate the changing lifestyle of young families who still crave their traditional foods, the rise of food culture and awareness of Japanese foods and cuisine.
