Tenute Guardasole | Organic Winery

Tenute Guardasole è un progetto che nasce dalla passione per il vino e il nostro territorio, l’Alto Piemonte. Vogliamo essere una piccola azienda dove si produce molto poco ma molto bene. Non vogliamo avere grandi superfici da coltivare con metodi convenzionali. Vogliamo essere piccoli, piccolissimi e gestire al meglio i vigneti, le piante e i grappoli che ci porteremo in cantina. Anche la cantina è molto piccola, ma moderna, ordinata e scrupolosamente pulita. Tutto il nostro lavoro lo svolgiamo con il metodo BIOLOGICO. L’Azienda si compone di tre piccoli appezzamenti che insieme creano una superficie di circa due ettari. Le nostre vigne si trovano sulla strada della Traversagna, luogo simbolo della produzione del Boca DOC. Ciascun vigneto è stato creato tra la fine del 1800 e l’inizio del 1900 con varietà di uve reperibili all’epoca. Negli anni si sono avvicendati abbandoni e reimpianti sino a giungere al 2008 dove abbiamo reintrodotto esclusivamente i tre vitigni tipici della DOC: Nebbiolo, Vespolina e Uva Rara. Tenute Guardasole is a project born from a passion for wine and our territory, Alto Piemonte. We want to be a small company where we produce very little but very well. We don't want to have large surfaces to cultivate with conventional methods. We want to be very small and manage the vineyards, plants and bunches that we will bring to the cellar in the best possible way. The cellar is also very small, but modern, tidy and scrupulously clean. We carry out all our work using the ORGANIC method. The company is made up of three small plots that create a surface area of about 2 hectares. Our vineyards are located on the Traversagna road, a symbolic place for the production of Boca DOC. Each vineyard was created between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th with grape varieties available at the time. We have been replanting every vineyard until 2008, when we reintroduced the 3 typical DOC vines: Nebbiolo, Vespolina, Uva Rara.
