In the 1970s Professor Silvana – affectionately known as "Nonna" – was captivated by a vineyard that stretched along the slopes of Mount Etna. Precisely in Milo, one of the oldest and most picturesque medieval villages in eastern Sicily.
She and her husband Mario decided to purchase it and lovingly tended to it with great passion. Years later, a tragic fire destroyed all their hard work, leaving them with a sense of emptiness. Today, after their passing, the new generations are starting from scratch to create something new while honoring the past, with the very same love for this land.
