Our family is from the heart of Mexico — Teocaltiche, Jalisco — and they’re also the lifeblood of Teocali. We love how good, simple food brings people together, and when you dine with us, we want you to connect and experience the true flavors of Mexico, in an environment as comfortable as your own family’s home. We established Teocali in August 2006, with the vision of bringing truly authentic Mexican cuisine to the Kansas City metro area. Many times, Mexican recipes are changed in the United States to entice a wider customer base. However, we use use the same recipes that have been in our family for generations — so when you dine with us, you’ll always be eating flavorful Mexican food the way it was meant to be enjoyed.
