The Tepper Finance Group (TFG) is Carnegie Mellon University’s premier undergraduate finance organization, dedicated to developing the next generation of financial leaders. As the largest finance community on campus, TFG provides an unparalleled platform for students to gain technical expertise, industry exposure, and professional mentorship—positioning them for success in the most competitive financial careers. TFG comprises five specialized clubs, each tailored to different areas of finance: 1. Tartan Student Fund (TSF): A student-run, long-only investment fund managing over $120,000 in AUM, providing hands-on investing experience. 2. The Investment Banking Academy: A rigorous training program that equips students with the skills and network necessary to secure investment banking roles. 3. The Sales & Trading Academy: A specialized track preparing students for dynamic careers in sales, trading, and markets. 4. The Research & Asset Management Academy: Focused on equity research, credit research, hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity careers. 5. The Introductory Finance Society: A foundational program introducing students to careers in financial services.
