Township Economy Revitalisation Alliance (TERA)

Our aim is to make a real difference in growing the township and rural economies. We do this by strengthening the income generation potential of beneficiaries on both management and operational levels, in order to grow and maintain sustainable participation in the economy. Our focus is on the township and rural retail businesses that are economically viable entities. We want to achieve the following outcomes: • Expand and grow existing retail businesses. • Create new and sustain existing jobs in the township economy and for entrepreneurs to become relevant in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). • Improve income returns on entrepreneurial investments and increase asset and wealth creation • Support government initiatives relating to economic growth. • Alleviating poverty, hunger and helps formalise township and rural retail businesses to become part of formal business and widen the tax base.
