Mazatlan is located 220km south of the state capital, located at Latitude 23º 11.9´ N; Longitude 106º 25.3´ W.
TMAZ is in a area where primary activities are the main engine of the economy. Activities related to agriculture, livestock, fishing and mining acquire important importance at national and international level for the supply of quality raw materials.

By land, Mazatlan has a highway that connects it with the entire southern United States, on the northern border, and with Mexico City in the center of the country. This highway axis crosses states that have strong industrial poles, such as Jalisco with the city of Guadalajara.
Sinaloa, with 650 km of coastline, offers the country, through its main port, Mazatlan, the natural gateway in the Pacific for the entire region and its centers of production and consumption; among them, the neighboring state of Durango, with a noticeable and thriving industrialization.
