Terran Data Inc. (TDI) provides consulting services related to data management for large and small businesses in Canada and abroad. We provide technical support for proprietary database users, advanced training for Excel users, and undertake data management projects. TDI provides all customer sales and support services to EQWin users on behalf of EQWin Software Inc. EQWin is a software product that stores and manages environmental monitoring data. EQWin focuses on the requirements for collecting, analyzing, storing, and interpreting sample data from monitoring programs where specified points are typically sampled on a routine schedule and measured for a wide variety of physical, chemical, bacteriological, biological, and other parameters. Our lead consultants have decades of experience in environmental management, including site management, impact assessments, and monitoring programs. All these experiences are brought together when setting up an environmental data management system that meets the specific needs of each site or project. We develop novel data models and implement them in custom data management systems. We routinely set up new databases for clients and populate them with data from historic sources. We perform systematic and comprehensive audits of existing databases to identify and fix errors, anomalies, and data conformity issues. We can evaluate current data management practices and provide recommendations for changes that will improve data quality control and assurance (QA/QC) and the efficiency of managing data. In recent years we have completed data management projects for customers in Canada, South Africa, Ghana, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Tanzania, USA, Chile, Argentina and other countries, including local training delivered in English, French and Spanish.
