Terre de Lin

Based in Normandy, a unique terroir for the world production of quality textile flax, TERRE DE LIN represents 15% of the world flax production. Specialized in the culture and the converting of textile flax/linen from the seeds to the fiber, TERRE DE LIN has developed, strongly rooted in its cooperative and human values. Its 650 adherent farmers and 300 employees share the same passion for flax. They focus on keeping a specific know-how, and strive to improve the practices in terms of production, respect of the environment and social responsibility. In an international environment, where communication and digital technologies bring the flax linen supply chain closer to the consumer, TERRE DE LIN wants to address the societal challenges sustainably for and with its stakeholders: adherents, employees, supply chain actors, linen consumers, actors of the Normandy and French territory. In this respect, TERRE DE LIN wants to: * Address the expectations of the final consumer and of the flax linen supply chain parties * Focus on the quality of our products, services and organization and on sustainable development, as leverages of innovation and continuous development from the seeds to the fiber. * Support sustainable, traceable and quality supply chains so as to create more value with flax and linen.
