Founded in 1986, the Normandy based French company Tertu designs, manufactures and markets technical solutions for roads and sites development. With its large range of steel backed timber crashworthy and CE certified safety barriers, Tertu must be considered nowadays as a worldwide leader, offering various solutions meeting most of on-site requirements.
In 2001, Tertu has been appointed as its French distributor by U.S. leading crash cushions & end terminals manufacturer Trinity Highway Products.
The company is also a partner of the Italian group Marcegaglia, for which it promotes on the French market an innovative range of steel crash barriers for bridges.
Thanks to its vast knowledge regarding wood materials, Tertu has also developed over the years a recognized know-how in both the design and installation of gangways made of wood or wood & steel. Generally customized and adapted to pedestrian or light vehicles traffic, the Tertu bridges are designed according to Eurocodes. In parallel, our company offers a range of solutions for the protection and development of sites and roads: tested and standardized pedestrian parapets, CE certified acoustic screens, fences and gates ....
While its business was booming in France, Tertu expanded its international activities with the setting up of subsidiaries in Chile, the United States, Brazil and China, as well as licensing agreements in New Zealand and Korea. Today, the company is active in more than 40 different countries and territories through a network of carefully selected distributors.
