TESLA NIT GOA

TESLA is the oldest student association of National Institute of Technology Goa and was inaugurated by the auspicious hands of our then Director Prof. (Dr.) G.R.C. Reddy on 2nd March 2012. TESLA aims to direct the students towards a better technical future and make them capable engineers through various training programs, workshops, field visits, etc. The idea of an Official Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department Association was initiated by the EEE department faculty back in 2012 and was supported by all students and other staff as well. Once the association was formed, there were several names suggested and finally, the name TESLA (The Electrical Students Luminous Association) was selected for representing the student association.Over the years, TESLA has organised various events and field visits across the country, with the intention to foster an atmosphere of intellectual freedom and to up-skill the students of NIT Goa.
