Textile Engineering Students Society - TESS

Textile Engineering Students Society (TESS) is the society which represents all the students following the Textile and Apparel Engineering Degree in University of Moratuwa. The main goal of this society is to build a good network of motivated textile engineering students in the faculty premises. It is built to provide entertainment, exploration, nurture their enterprising skills, and as an opportunity for the students to broaden their knowledge about the textile industry, bond with peers and develop professionally. TESS aims for organizing activities for gaining personal, social, cultural and career improvements to its members during the university education. It will enrich the university learning experience through career exploration, guest speakers and field trips. It paves the path to arrange co- curricular and extra- curriculum activities like Texa Day, Texa Pedura, TESS Trip, Mehewara, Bodhi Pooja and Sithmanjaree Elder's Home Visit to establish a positive and friendly relationship among teachers and students.
