In 2016, TESSLAB was founded. Due to lack of resources, TESSLAB attached itself to a school and trained its students for tournaments, the results were instantaneous, 6 teams made it to National Robotics Competition (NRC), and 3 teams advanced to World Robotics Olympiad (WRO), taking home 1 Gold and 2 silver! That was just the beginning, TESSLAB continue to dominate the national scene in Malaysia, securing the WRO slot ever since. TESSLAB now has an astonishing 5 WRO titles.
