Tethyan Gold Exploration (TGE) is an Australian-based mineral exploration company that applies spectral remote sensing, advanced exploration data processing methods, and machine-learning geospatial data integration modeling in mineral exploration. We specialize primarily in cutting-edge mineral target generation for gold, copper, lithium, and iron.
At TGE, our use of Aster, World View 3, and Sentinel-2 multi-spectral and Prisma and En-Map hyperspectral satellite imagery data, combined with our deep understanding of mineral system concepts, allows us to map favorable hydrothermal alteration minerals and structures with unparalleled precision. TGE is managed by Dr. Hooshang Asadi Haroni, who is based in Australia, and Dr. Marc Goossens, who is based in the Netherlands. Dr. Asadi has 25 years of experience in spectral mineral remote sensing, geospatial data integration modeling, and several activities in various gold and copper exploration stages. These experiences, combined with his earlier experience working in Rio Tinto as an exploration geologist and remote sensing and GIS analyst, led him to discover several gold, copper, and other mineral deposits, mainly using spectral remote sensing in the first exploration stage.
Marc Goossens has about 30 years of experience in spectral remote sensing, mainly managing the Geosense company. His primary expertise is spectral mapping of alteration patterns, mineral target generation, and field spectroscopy, where he carried out several projects for international companies such as Rio Tinto, BHP, Anglo-American, Newmont, Stratex, etc. He worked at Anglo-American and Newmont for several years.
