Launched in Luxembourg as a Reserved Alternative Investment Fund (RAIF–SCSp) for institutional and qualified investors, TETHYS Gateway Investment Fund targets critical raw materials, sustainable mining, and integrated infrastructure across Türkiye, the Caucasus, Central Asia—resource-rich regions historically underserved by global capital. The Fund is designed to deliver attractive, risk-adjusted returns while reinforcing resilient, transparent supply chains for European and North American markets. Its investment strategy is anchored in a pre-seeded pipeline of high-potential mining and processing projects covering commodities such as copper, lithium, nickel, cobalt, rare earth elements, graphite, and more. All portfolio projects must adhere to robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Traceability tools—such as digital product passports—ensure transparency from mine to end-use, supporting alignment with key EU regulatory frameworks, including the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and the Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA). The Fund is classified as an Article 8 product under the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), and aligns with leading sustainability benchmarks such as the Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA). Strategic alliances with regional development finance institutions and state-owned enterprises enable the Fund to mobilize capital, access technical expertise, and mitigate geopolitical and regulatory risks. Its governance framework includes an independent Board of Directors, an Investment Committee requiring supermajority approval, and a dedicated ESG & Compliance Committee. Independent audits and adherence to IFC Performance Standards and other global best practices underpin operational integrity.
