Launched in January 2021, TEV UK embodies an independent charitable spirit, inspired by the legacy of the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) founded in 1967. While we share a common vision with TEV of providing educational opportunities, TEV UK operates independently in the UK, focusing on empowering Turkish students through access to world-class education.
Our journey began with a passion to help, fueled by the fast-growing Turkish community in England. Today, TEV UK stands as a secular, non-political, and liberal organization dedicated to providing equal educational opportunities. Run by 15 volunteers from diverse backgrounds, we share a common goal:
To make a difference in the lives of deserving students.
🎓Our Impact:
Funds Raised: Over £750,000 was generated within three years to support our scholars.
Strategic Partnerships: Collaborations with the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and Imperial College London, offering significant scholarship contributions.
Scholarships Provided:
5 full scholarships annually to deserving Turkish students lacking financial means.
10 merit-based scholarships each year within Turkiye.
Additional support for students affected by February 2023 Earthquake.
