Texas Beef Council

The Texas Beef Council (TBC) is dedicated to promoting beef and supporting Texas ranchers who bring high-quality, nutritious beef to the table. Through innovative promotion, research, and education, TBC strengthens the beef industry and fosters a deeper connection between Texans and the beef they love. As a non-profit organization funded by Texas ranchers through the Beef Checkoff programs, TBC works tirelessly to drive demand for beef both domestically and internationally. Our efforts are guided by a 20-member board of dedicated cattlemen and cattlewomen, representing the interests of over 140,000 beef producers across the state. At TBC, our mission is to ensure that beef continues to be a nutritious, sustainable choice for Texans and people worldwide. We welcome and encourage open discussions about beef, Texas ranching, and the role beef plays in a healthy, sustainable diet.
