Texas Health Catalyst leverages UT Austin’s world-class academic research, Dell Medical School’s clinical enterprise, and the innovative environment of Central Texas in order to identify and accelerate promising research — so that innovative ideas can start impacting lives more quickly. The program supports central Texas health technology & medical technology researchers, innovators and entrepreneurs through the translational research process by providing customized guidance on research and development pathways from industry and clinical expects as well as milestone-based seed funding opportunities.
The Texas Health Catalyst program is a collaborative initiative with the Cockrell School of Engineering, College of Natural Sciences, College of Pharmacy and Office of Technology Commercialization at The University of Texas at Austin. Our network is comprised of research scientists, clinicians, regulatory and commercialization experts, as well as industry leaders in corporate and academic sectors.
