Texas Football Club (TFC) was founded by Hani Al Rifai, a lifelong soccer enthusiast, community builder, and experienced program leader. Growing up in Iraq, Hani had few opportunities to chase his passion for football — an experience that ignited a lifelong mission to create chances for others where none existed. After moving to Texas and establishing himself as a leader in the tech and automotive industries, Hani decided to give back to the community that welcomed him by launching Texas FC from Leander. Texas FC isn’t just another soccer club — it’s a bold, community-first movement designed to empower local talent and build a real, merit-based pathway to professional soccer. With a strong focus on inclusivity, accessibility, and excellence, TFC brings together passionate players from all backgrounds, providing them with a platform to grow, compete, and ultimately reach higher levels, including USL League One, USL Championship, and beyond. Through competitive local leagues and tournaments with prize money, TFC fosters a spirit of ambition and community pride while removing barriers to entry. The club’s "path to pro" vision supports top-performing teams and individuals with sponsorship opportunities and structured development, creating an authentic route to the professional stage that has never before existed at this scale in Central Texas.
