Textile Engineers Association (TEA) is one of Bangladesh’s most dynamic and impactful platforms in the textile sector. Founded on June 8, 2023 by Sagar Bepary, TEA connects students, industry experts, and institutions to bridge the gap between academia and the textile industry. In a short span of time, TEA has: Organized 51+ national events Directly connected with 37 educational institutions Trained over 9,500 students on spinning, weaving, printing, merchandising, and textile basics Arranged industry visits for 571 students Built a strong network of 70+ senior officials, teachers, and industry professionals Facilitated internships, job opportunities, and industry visits for hundreds of students Beyond education and training, TEA is committed to social responsibility, engaging in humanitarian work such as flood relief, festival support for underprivileged communities, and educational aid for children. With its forward-thinking initiatives, TEA continues to empower the next generation of textile professionals, fostering innovation, skill development, and a stronger industry-academia bond.
