Textiles by St Anne’s are a Social Enterprise within Birmingham Industrial Therapy Association, a mental health charity established in 1963. Textiles by St Anne have been trading since 1999 and are a soft furnishings manufacturer, working on contracts for the domestic and contracts market. Linking with local private sector businesses offering them additional manufacturing capabilities As an organization we offer work based training and work experience for adults and young people with mental ill health problems, preparing them for employment .On the job training is on going, it can take between 2 to 3 years to learn and retain the skills required. This work based training is integrated with the contracts and orders we manufacture from all sectors of the soft furnishing industry
