The mission of Non-governmental organization «Data Journalism Agency» is to enhance the transparency of the authorities and governing bodies through the development of high-quality journalism and data journalism. Through the analysis of big data, we seek to promote the higher quality of decision-making among politicians, officials, and citizens. We are working toward the promotion of “digital culture” among politicians, civil servants, and civil society.
Organization is established in 2009 as a Non-government organization and now working both as a think tank and online-media www.texty.org.ua.
Executive director of the NGO is Roman Kulchynskyy, experienced editor and journalist. The head of the analytical department and deputy head of the NGO is Anatolii Bondarenko, acknowledged in Ukraine and among foreign data journalists. The staff for the last years is about 14 people: analysts, programmers, designers, journalists, and others.
