TG Foundation is a UK registered charity. Our aim is to actively contribute to the restoration of women, girls, communities & families that have been victims of sexual violence in the north-eastern DRC and to help grassroots organisations create communities in the region where women and girls are valued and respected. We achieve this by working closely with grassroots organisations and to date we have set-up medical, food, socio-economic and education programmes.
Our aim is to financially support NGO's and projects in the more remote or less developed areas of the Kivu region in the north-east DRC. These hospitals may provide various treatments including healthcare, psychological treatment, temporary housing, as well as job training programmes for women and girls who have been raped and are victims of sexual violence. Some of these women and girls are so violently raped that it sometimes takes multiple fistula operations before they are able to physically recover from their ordeal.
We work with NGO's and organisations that have been founded in the Congo at grassroots levels and are in desperate need of programmes, development, infrastructure and funding.
