Thunder Gold Corp. (TSX.V:TGOL) is a junior exploration company focused on the discovery of high value gold deposits in Canada. The Company’s flagship asset is the 1,968 ha Tower Mountain gold property located 50 kilometres west of Thunder Bay, Ontario in the Archean aged (2750-2830 Ma) Shebandowan Greenstone Belt (“SBG”). The Tower Mountain claim group is approximately 60 kilometres east of the Moss Lake property (+4.0 Moz Au averaging 1.04 g/t Au) currently being explored by Goldshore Resources (TSXV:GSHR). The Company also holds a 100% interest in the 1700 ha PEN property, a greenfield gold exploration opportunity located in the Archean aged Beardmore-Geraldton Greenstone Belt (“BGGB”) of Ontario. The PEN property lies 5 kilometres north-northeast of the Greenstone Mine (5.5 Moz Au averaging 1.27 g/t Au) currently under construction by Equinox Gold (TSX:EQX). In addition, the Company has optioned a number of highly prospective properties in Ontario, Newfoundland and Namibia to qualified third parties capable of focusing on advancing the properties through exploration.
