Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption Thailand's Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption, was initiated in 2010 by the late Khun Charnchai Charuvastr, then President and CEO of the Thai Institute of Directors Association (Thai IOD) and Khun Dusit Nonthanakorn, then Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC). The project started through the cooperation of the Thai IOD, TCC and Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce (JFCCT) is now supported by a total of seven leading private sector partner organizations, also including the Listed Companies Association, Thai Bankers’ Association, Federation of the Thai Capital Market Organizations, Federation of Thai Industries and Tourism Council of Thailand. The project has also received since its inception the full support of the US-based Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE). The project was established with the aim to create awareness in the private private of the corruption risk and the need resisting and fighting corruption through the implementation of policies and effective mechanisms to prevent corruption at the company and industry levels. In addition, to coordinate the Coalition's policies and to establish best practice standards, a group of highly respected and experienced individuals were appointed to form the Private Sector Collective Action Coalition Against Corruption Council, or CAC, comprising
