Thai Carbon is the first commercial biochar producer in Asia to utilize a US patented slow pyrolysis process to produce excellent quality biochar. We can use a variety of Thailand abundant biomass feedstocks where the plants have already done the hard work of absorbing carbon dioxide from the air during their growth. After conversion of the feedstocks into biochar, the charcoal produced will remain stable for over 1000 years in the soil. This effectively sequesters approximately 3 tons of carbon dioxide for every one ton of biochar put into the soil (or buried, not burned). Biochar is a truly remarkable and versatile technological material. Due to its high carbon content and porous microstructure which is literally a "carbon copy" of the feedstock's original organic structure. Our biochar can be utilized for agriculture yield improvement, water filtration, toxic metal absorption, structural material enhancement, as well as a graphene source in advanced energy applications and more. By carefully documenting the carbon footprint of each step from sustainable production of feedstocks, environmentally friendly conversion to biochar, value-add utilization and final sequestration, valuable carbon dioxide removal credit scan be issued on several established carbon trading platforms.
