THALASSA Marine Research & Environmental Awareness is a company established by two marine biologists passionate for scientific research and science communication. Our mission is to use our scientific expertise to propose customized services for environmental stakeholders such as research laboratories, government agencies and environmental managers and finally bring this scientific knowledge to people. We offer services in 3 main areas: Research, Scientific communication and Education. · We propose customized research services in several areas such as assessment of biological diversity and spatial structuring of populations and marine communities, measurement of the effects of stress in marine ecosystems through molecular and biochemical tools. We also provide professional scuba diving for sampling purposes. We are here to help make your science easier. · Communication is an aspect of research often neglected by researchers due to lack of time, but fundamental to research laboratories and partners. However, it is time to favor public access to scientific research. With a variety of communication tools, we are engaged in making the bridge between the scientific knowledge produced by researchers and the general public. · We believe in the power of education, so we propose a series of awareness programs to children to teach them the importance of our sea and to make them the new actors in the fight against the degradation of the marine environment.
