Today we boast a unique continuum of addiction care for alcohol and substance use disorders, gambling addiction, sex and love addiction.
Tharagay is one of the original private sector treatment facilities in Cape Town. While age does not equal expertise, it does mean we can draw upon a wealth of knowledge and experience in dealing with your problem. Our treatment style and model has been imitated by many other facilities in Cape Town. This is both flattering to us and reassuring to you in that treatment at Tharagay is the original thing, not a bootleg copy. We have stood the test of time.
Our rates are affordable. While we operate in the private sector, we do not aim to extort as much profit out of unsuspecting clients. We own all our facilities and have not just hired an empty guesthouse to turn a quick buck out of a desperate client.
Mostly, our clinical teams are devoted to helping you find a sustainable way out of your addiction. The Tharagay treatment system has all the elements for a seamless continuum of care. What this means is that we can place you in a facility most appropriate to your needs, not ours. We can provide treatment, halfway house and sober house services, as well as outpatient and aftercare services.
Finally, all our facilities are registered with the Department of Social Development and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). This means we meet certain statutory requirements and are accountable to a registering authority and medical aid will contribute to the costs.
