We source our beans from the famed Pyin Oo Lwin Highlands, ensuring the highest quality and supporting local farmers. At thaut mal, we believe a cup of coffee shouldn't be a luxury – it should be an experience that uplifts your day and connects you to our rich heritage. The Problem : In major Myanmar cities like Mandalay and Yangon, a cafe coffee costs around 5,000-6,000 Kyats. This is simply out of reach for many working-class citizens only earning around 100,000 Kyats per month. Our Solution : Thaut Mal offers high-quality, visually-appealing coffee at a fraction of the price. We achieve through by streamlining operations, operating from carts instead of physical locations, simplifying our menu, and focusing on what truly matters: the coffee and the customer experience. Beyond Coffee, Thaut Mal empowers Myanmar's youth by providing part-time job opportunities, particularly for university students. Through our initiative, we aim to foster a part time working culture for University Students in Mandalay, one cart at a time. Additionally, Thaut Mal is deeply invested in empowering Mandalay's youth. That's why we allocate 20% of our profits to fund educational programs, equipping disadvantaged youth with valuable skills like personal finance management and language learning.
