We source our beans from the famed Pyin Oo Lwin Highlands, ensuring the highest quality and supporting local farmers. The Problem :
In major Myanmar cities like Mandalay and Yangon, a cafe coffee costs around 5,000-6,000 Kyats. This is simply out of reach for many working-class citizens only earning around 100,000 Kyats per month.
Our Solution :
Thaut Mal offers high-quality, visually-appealing coffee at a fraction of the price. We achieve through by streamlining operations, operating from carts instead of physical locations, simplifying our menu, and focusing on what truly matters: the coffee and the customer experience.
Beyond Coffee, Thaut Mal empowers Myanmar's youth by providing part-time job opportunities, particularly for university students. Through our initiative, we aim to foster a part time working culture for University Students in Mandalay, one cart at a time.
Additionally, Thaut Mal is deeply invested in empowering Mandalay's youth. That's why we allocate 20% of our profits to fund educational programs, equipping disadvantaged youth with valuable skills like personal finance management and language learning. These programs open doors to brighter futures and empower them to reach their full potential.
