The 4th dimension (4D) is a mindful recovery community for men and women seeking recovery from substance abuse. Recovery is a process that happens with painstaking effort and attention in a safe environment over time. 4D provides a safe environment with structure, accountability and mindfulness where recovery occurs.
4D encourages residents to develop a mindfulness meditation practice to create a calm awareness and strengthen concentration. Residents are taught simple walking meditation techniques to help relieve stress and to become aware of their thoughts. Residents are gradually introduced to seated meditation to help establish a conscious contact with their Higher Power pursuant to Step 11.
