Certain short term injuries, long term disabilities and also the effects from ageing can make everyday tasks such as putting on a set of clothes more challenging. Even fastening a zip or doing up a button can be a struggle. Recognising these problems, and inspired by the difficulties faced by a grandmother with Parkinson’s Disease, The Able Label was launched.
We provide quality, stylish clothing with important hidden extras – those little touches that make taking clothes on and off a lot easier for people suffering from restricted movement, perhaps through arthritis or a stroke. We use high quality, easy-care fabrics while maintaining the design flair of each garment. Every item of clothing is designed to meet a specific set of needs and provides discrete and easy fastenings. Our focus is on providing a stylish, flattering clothing range with relaxed designs in the latest yet timeless colours, patterns and silhouettes. But you would never know they were adapted so sshhh, it's our little secret!
We aim not only to help maintain the independence of anyone who finds it hard to dress in conventional clothing but also instil self-esteem by providing the perfect combination of function and fashion making you look and feel good.
