Achieve is a tuition-free educational program serving low-income middle school-age children from Boston. Enrolling students in the summer after 6th grade and graduating them from the program in the summer before 9th grade, Achieve involves a three-year commitment in which each participant will experience a total of three 6-week summer sessions and two academic year programs - as well as a robust high school preparation, placement and transition program. Achieve helps to ensure the closing of the achievement gap often experienced by under-resourced youth by curbing summer learning loss, promoting academic growth, and instilling in students the confidence and motivation necessary to succeed in higher education and beyond.
