Created by an Audiologist, the Ambient Menu is grant funded, inspired by research, based on science, with a worldwide first accreditation system that ensures a venue is conversation friendly.
We guide diners to quieter eateries where they can connect and be social without straining to hear. Our goal is to take the 'din' out of dining out.
What we do:

SEARCH:
A worldwide first. Diners search for restaurants based on their listening preferences ranging from quiet to lively.
DIRECT:
We direct diners to quieter eateries. This results in more customers dining out in quieter venues, more advocates for that restaurant, and more return customers because they had a memorable experience.
REVIEW:
Diners leave ratings based on ambience, food and service. Like any other rating site it relies on user generated content, and our community looks at reviews when deciding where to go for dinner. It also gives us a guide as to which eateries may be suitable for Ambient Menu Accreditation.
ACCREDIT:
Venues that offer delicious food, attentive service and an ambience that allows easy conversation can apply for Ambient Menu Accreditation. Accreditation is based on science, not diners' opinions. We rate the venue against our scientific, research inspired acoustic criteria. The Ambient Menu is grant-funded and FREE for the first five venues in each state.
PROMOTE:
If successful in attaining accreditation, we guide our community to that venue knowing they will enjoy a memorable experience. We don’t use influencers building their own brand to promote eateries, we are passionate scientists with masters degrees using our knowledge, building a community, to promote conversation friendly eateries.
To date: we have thousands of monthly searches for ambient eateries, several accredited venues ranging from high end restaurants to local cafes, and about to expand from South Australia into the Sunshine Coast.
