As a pioneering community of practice leadership and academic program, ASF is committed to nurturing the professional and personal development of global majority women embarking on or already engaged in postgraduate studies.
The primary mission of ASF is to foster robust connections among our community's students and academic leaders, with a particular focus on cultivating social capital to overcome challenges encountered by Global Majority students, educators, and leaders. Through collaborative efforts, we seek to establish a dynamic think tank and catalyse a powerful movement toward increasing the representation of Global Majority female professors in academia, while forging strong alliances for the foreseeable future. As members of ASF, we pledge to utilize our voices to raise awareness about the experiences of researchers and strive to become thought leaders in our respective fields of study.
Through a carefully curated series of events and activities, ASF will unite our vibrant community of global majority female educators and researchers, offering invaluable tutoring, guidance, networking opportunities, and mentorship to support the journey toward academic excellence.
