The Anti-Boring Learning Lab

The Anti-Boring Learning Lab is a one-stop-shop for educators to learn the skills students actually need to be happy, productive, proactive learners in school and life. As an educator, you've likely noticed that students are struggling. To take ownership of their learning. To manage their time effectively. To hang on to their mental health. In this context, we're struggling to! To teach or coach neurodiverse students who: - are increasingly distracted and scattered - don't study effectively, or at all - forget to turn in assignments - can't advocate for themselves effectively - and so much more. The struggles might be because of overwhelm, lack of skill development, diagnosed learning differences, anxiety and depression, or countless other barriers. They might be exacerbated by systemic inequities of being poor, under-resourced, of color, LGBTQ+, or other marginalized identities. Regardless of the reason — it’s messy out there today in the world of schools and schooling and educators are feeling it. But guess what? You don’t have to feel frustrated, burnt out, and overwhelmed. With a few simple tools and practice, you can have a productive and positive relationship with your students while equipping them for success in school.
