The Assistant Co is a virtual assistant agency based in Essex, dedicated to providing flexible, on-demand support to business leaders on a long-term, short-term, or project basis. With nearly a decade of experience in recruitment and managing our own agency, we recognised a growing need for small business support in areas like administration, email and social media management, data entry, and diary management. We also found that for many business owners, these needs are not constant and may not justify the expense of a permanent hire. At the same time, we observed a gap in the virtual assistant market: many skilled VAs either don't want the hassle of managing their own businesses, or struggle to secure clients independently due to limited business relationships. To bridge this gap, we bring experienced VAs into our team, connecting them with our network of small businesses that can benefit from reliable, flexible assistance without the challenges of client acquisition. The Assistant Co was created to deliver cost-effective, adaptable PA support for our clients, while offering freelance VAs the chance to expand their client base without the demands of business development. We’re here to help business owners focus on what’s most critical, knowing their day-to-day operations are in capable hands.
