The Basement Recovery Project is an independent self-help, not for profit, charitable organisation, based in Halifax, Calderdale & Huddersfield and Dewsbury in Kirklees. We offer support and inspiration to those people who are involved with alcohol and / or substance misuse, the opportunity of a new sustained abstinent lifestyle – recovery from addiction.
We provide user-led, peer-to-peer and person centred health and social care services within the substance and alcohol misuse field. The project has evolved primarily as a response to gaps in addiction treatment service delivery and we now enjoy a positive reputation for effective and flexible service delivery at the cutting edge of the changing direction in Substance Misuse Treatment.
