The Beacon Project

The Beacon Project empowers low efficacy, often immigrant and low-income, communities in Boston to participate in local elections by making voter education more accessible, welcoming, and engaging. Through pop-up events, multilingual outreach, and digital storytelling, we aim to spark civic confidence and create spaces where all voices feel heard and valued. Our goal is not just to register voters, but to build lasting trust in the democratic process. By connecting people with the issues and candidates they care about, we hope to make local politics and engagement feel more inclusive and meaningful to all.
