The Bella Network

The Bella Network addresses the race inequities that the women's movement, most women's conferences, and leadership development programs ignore. We offer insightful, engaging, and highly collaborative transformational leadership events to educate and empower professional Black women on overcoming racism and sexism, and the intersection of the two based on best practices from successful Black women. We address head-on Black women's specific challenges as they grow and scale their career and business endeavors. Most leadership development platforms leverage speakers and panel discussions that do not address these particular nuances with an appropriate level of background context to address various situations and perspectives. Our focus is Black women but we are applicable to all women of color. We provide Black women access to each other in a safe group learning, mentoring, and coaching environment to ask questions and reflect on the context around professional challenges. We connect leadership concepts to real work issues and challenges. We ensure that we approach challenges and opportunities from various personal beliefs and values to ensure participants find the approach authentic to their leadership style. Our leadership events span across multiple days or hours to allow suitable time for robust discussion of all relevant topics. Our participants come from various industries and levels of experience. This diversity adds tremendously to the overall knowledge sharing. You do not just hear one person's perspective or discussions from just a few. More importantly, we are looking for opportunities to develop a fresh way of addressing a situation, challenge, or issue, so everyone's perspective is important. We also focus on weaving into every event the four critical points for professional success that are not taught in traditional panel and speaking events.
