The Berkshire Project, a 501c3, joins adult individuals with a wide range of abilities to spend time and celebrate the diversity in each other in a small family-like community in the Berkshires every summer. Our goal is to build connections that will last for years to come.
The Berkshire Project is a creative and performing arts-based program supported by the Katie Johnson Fellowship, Inc. whose mission is to empower individuals of all abilities. We are entirely funded by private donations, allowing us to off er the program to participants free of charge with all lodging and meals included. Throughout the retreat, we will participate in community activities, and enjoy live music, live theatre, visits with local artists, and more. The support model will be 1:1, with each participant paired with a support person for the entire retreat.
