The BioFoundry (TBF) is essentially the Project Management Office for its subsidiaries and sister companies and provides the tools and resources necessary to successfully implement chosen projects. These projects range from the development of airport assets for Florida Airport Management (FAM) to the physical creation of innovative technologies and related products sponsored by our non-profit sister company Biotech Applied Research (BAR). Current projects include airport infrastructure improvements for our flagship Avon Park Executive Airport, as well as the completion of our Integrated Demonstration Unit for Phase 2 collaboration with the USDA via their 9003 Program: Biorefinery, Renewable Chemical, and Biobased Product Manufacturing Assistance.
The focus of TBF is to create collaborative joint ventures and contractual arrangements to promote cooperation and teaming for collective gains in advancing technologies and business concepts, while protecting associated intellectual property. Planned subsidiaries include a full complement of engineering, construction, and project controls, allowing us to self-perform projects internally, as well as offer these services to others for development on or off airport property.
