There’s nothing that feels more natural than coming to Connaught Place to finish up some work: Since the 30s, when the Inner Circle was first established as Delhi’s prime Business District, this has been the spot to get down to business and do it well. Think heady coffees between meetings, and a cubicle that shares a wall with that COO that you’d like to drink with after hours. We set up the BIV for anyone who shares these things we know for sure: 1. real human connections are the best thing in life 2. work life balance is happiness 3. being one with the city is a feeling like no other We looked no further than Connaught Place, which nailed work culture many decades ago. In the 30s and 40s, to be in CP was not just to kill yourself working, it was also to have fun: there was a bandstand that played music not far from where we are every Saturday evening, and this was the ‘most stylish place in Delhi’ -- as one vintage guidebook reminds us. This also made it a melting pot - diplomats and businessmen bonded with ease, and traders and buyers blurred boundaries after sunset. We’re all about maintaining this original, vibrant CP spirit, where work and community reigned. The Biv welcomes all, across profession, age, and zodiac signs.
