The Blk Room

The.BlkRoom is a Chicago-based organization, and community network facilitating opportunities for BIPOC artists and creatives across the city. Founded in September 2021 as a co-creation space, TBR operated as a member based music studio, built with the intention of providing a safe, accessible and high-quality working environment for Black and Brown artists and musicians in Chicago. TBR has since become a success in cultivating resources for the Chicago artist community, and sustaining our mission as we transition out of our physical space. TBR aims to continue to provide opportunities for up and coming creatives by uniting arts, people, and space through special events, virtual showcases, and other creative efforts.
