The Boone Group’s recent clients include Louisville City FC and Racing Louisville, as they navigated the process of creating a foundation from scratch. Christen Boone led this process, including hiring and coaching its first executive director. Other recent engagements include strategic team and board retreats, corporate social responsibility planning, organizational assessments, capacity building and new CEO community integration for clients such as Norfolk Arts Alliance, Oklahoma City Community Foundation, The University of Louisville, World Affairs Council, Park Community Credit Union, Amped, and Leadership Louisville.
Before returning to the Boone Group, Christen served as the President & CEO of the Fund for the Arts, transforming a 75 year old organization, the largest arts funder in the region, to a more inclusive, equitable and impactful community driver of change. Over the course of her career, Christen served in leadership positions for some of the region's most treasured institutions from The Parklands of Floyds Fork, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Greater Louisville Project, Cincinnati's ArtsWave and Atlanta's High Museum of Art.
Christen Boone is recognized as an expert in organizational strategy, stakeholder engagement, DEI and change management. She is a dynamic keynote speaker on topics regarding leadership and social impact.
