Since 1994, The Boyd School has been setting the standard for Montessori education in Northern, VA by providing superior Montessori environments and dynamic 21st century learning experiences. With 7 unique locations across Loudoun & Fairfax County we are proud to offer authentic programs for children: infants through the 6th grade. The Boyd School employs the Montessori philosophy, method and materials that emphasize the development of all facets of a child's personality - social, emotional, cognitive and physical. The Boyd School is the only fully accredited Montessori school in Loudoun County, VA and one of only two in Fairfax County, VA. The Boyd School has dual accreditation through the American Montessori Society and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (AdvancedED) and is recognized by the Virginia Council for Private Education.
