Our Goal
We explore the push-and-pull dynamics across teams within health tech as they struggle to align on topics including decision-making, priorities, financial responsibility, and strategic direction. We dive into the challenges, speak about our experiences, incorporate reader feedback, and recommend ways to come together and provide collaborative care.
Origin Story
Marin and Craig met in a healthcare Slack channel, eager to expand their skill sets. Craig, with 15 years in Product, wanted to learn about health tech, and Marin, who spent her career in health care operations and strategy, wanted guidance on Product. We quickly realized our differing perspectives, expertise, and biases sparked meaningful debate and discussion.
The Care Collaborative is an extension of our regular discussions where we pick a topic to disagree about, learn from each other’s experience, and then (usually) agree on ways to address these challenging topics that so many of us face.
